Clé Bennett up for second Gemini Award

On Saturday, November 13th Canadian actor Clé Bennett will walk the red carpet for the 25thAnniversary Gemini Awards, joining the best in Canadian television. The actor is currently up for a second Gemini award for his role as Carlos Powell in HBO’s “The Line”.

The second nomination comes right after he nabbed the Best Actor In A Supporting Role award at the Gemini Industry Awards gala for his role in the CBC mini-series “Guns”.  The mini-series was a big hit at the gala which honours the best in Canadian comedy, drama and youth programs. At the 25th Anniversary Gemini Awards scheduled to take place in Toronto, Clé will be a presenter as well as a nominee.

The nods follow what has been a busy year for the actor with roles in Showcase’s new series “Lost Girl” and Global TV’s “Shattered”, as well as a role in feature film “Barney’s Vision” alongside Minnie Driver, Paul Giamatti and Dustin Hoffman.
