The sounds of Stevie Wonder’s music are always  captivating, emotional and sexy.

The rich ambiance at Toronto’s Trane Studios on Thursday November 11th sent us back in time with the smooth sounds of The SoulMates Band, Mike Ferfolia, Gary Beals, Toni Anderson & Al St. Louis doing his rendition as Stevie Wonder.

The sound brought out every forgotten feeling, clearer than the day I first heard his music. I was impressed and moved by how effectively the team was able to arouse and convey the love they have of Stevie Wonder, and his music.

Stevie Wonder is a musical genius. His music spans the globe and has touched many hearts, souls & lives.  The crowd was engaged, emotional, ecstatic & radiant.

As the show ended I scanned the room, and seeing expressions of rapture, I also heard the reactions of people who had just discovered how much of Stevie Wonder they had missed.

Creatively combined with Spoken Word, Al St. Louis, CEO/Founder of When Words Are spoken, uses music and the power of Spoken Word to bring the artist and the audience to a culmination of positive change and strong reaction.

Al St. Louis says “ It was exactly what it was supposed to be… a Tribute! We paid honour to one of the GREATS in music in fine fashion….. The band, the artists, the venue, & the audience were all perfect for the night!! Stevie Wonder would have been proud!!”
