Ebony Magazine, one of the oldest African American magazines is turning 65 in October.  Runour has it that Mary J. Blige will grace the special anniversary cover, channeling Diana Ross’ 1970 “Mahogany” cover.

According to early internet leaks about the article, Mary says her new album will hit the stores in February 2011.  She’s been busily working on the new album with expectant Daddy Swizz Beatz and has been calling her sound “totally original”.

Sway can’t wait to see the new Ebony issue, and also can’t wait until February for Mary’s new work!!
