Candid Aspirations: Color and Imagination in Haitian & Jamaican Art

In an exclusive arrangement, the Gladstone Hotel presents the personal collection of Haitian and Jamaican art by acclaimed director Jonathan Demme. Second Annual Hatsquerade

Hats on For Awareness is hosting its Second Annual Hatsquerade  at the Liberty Grand at 8pm. Cabbagetown Festival 2010

The 2010 Cabbagetown Festival kicks-off Saturday morning at 10am with the grand parade running on Parliament Street from Wellesley south to Gerrard. Following the parade, visitors can shop amongst the numerous arts and crafts vendors and enjoy the sounds of street entertainment.

Parkinson SuperWalk

2010 marks the 20th anniversary of SuperWalk and it will be Parkinson Society Canada’s biggest fundraising event yet! This year’s goal is to raise $3 million. The Toronto SuperWalk is being held at Earl Bales Park (Bathurst & Sheppard), with registration beginning at 9:30 am.
