Attention all recessionistas!!

Fall fashion is shaping up to be an anticipated one with the news of a collaboration between French luxury brand Lanvin, and fast fashion retailer H&M. The collection slated to go on sale Nov 20th in North America and three days later in H&M stores worldwide, will feature an exclusive line of high-end men’s and womenswear clothing.

With this partnership, Lanvin joins an impressive list of designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Matthew Williamson and Jimmy Choo; labels who have all successfully collaborated with the Swedish retailer.

“H&M approached us to collaborate, and see if we could translate the dream we created at Lanvin to a wider audience, not just a dress for less. I have said in the past that I would never do a mass-market collection, but what intrigued me was the idea of H&M going luxury rather than Lanvin going public,” Alber Elbaz, artistic director of Lanvin, in a statement confirming the collaboration.

While designers such Lagerfeld and Jimmy Choo were well known to the masses, we are curious to see what kind of reception more exclusive brand Lanvin will receive. Needless to say, LANVIN FOR ALL! See you on November 20th!!
