At Sway, we believe education is for life.  Our lead designer, Ashley McKenzie-Barnes, is delivering this message across the GTA as part of Ryerson University’s Success Stories campaign.  McKenzie-Barnes is a student at the Chang School of Continuing Education’s Design for Arts and Entertainment program.

“It’s important for me to share my success stories…to not only motivate but also inspire youth and especially younger black females to reach for their aspirations.   We need to think about setting a pathway for the younger generation to follow and role models for them to look up to – especially within the artistic community.”

She joins a growing number of Canadian adults practicing “lifelong learning” for either professional or personal reasons.

“Continuing education is important to me because we all have to expand our minds and continue to learn, as this is how we grow as individuals, creatives and professionals.”

It’s never too late to learn!

You can see Ashley’s TTC ads throughout August and September.  Congrats Ashley !!
