As she came into her own in her early 20s and learned more about herself, Jaggernauth realized she could use her talent for public speaking to launch a broadcasting career. Over the past 10 years, Jaggernauth has made regular appearances on a variety of major television networks including Global TV, MuchMusic, SLICE, CTV and MTV to name a few.

“When I first started out, there were hardly any leading roles for people of colour in Canada,” he says. “You almost had to resign yourself to guest spots or playing the best friend of the main character. Flash forward to today and there’s so many opportunities for people of colour in series’ leads.

Rwanda-born Mireille Urumuri discovered her love for the performing arts when she was only four, living in Spain with her family.

Since leaving the National Basketball Association in 2004, Rick Fox has carved out quite the acting career. In 2007, he had a recurring role on the show Dirt and a lead role in Tyler Perry’s Meet the Browns.

To stand in your truth means that even though the world might kind of try and shift you in different ways… you get that power every time you speak up for yourself, every time you overcome a fear or a stress of some sort. That’s what power is.”

Best known for his role on Third Watch, Bell recently scored a touchdown with the wildly popular dramatic comedy The Game, on which he plays professional footballer Jason Pitts. But unlike his acting career, The Game has had a tumultuous history.
