OHENEWA AKUFFO
POWERFUL BECAUSE...
After entering the sport of wrestling in grade nine, Ohenewa Akuffo became the youngest wrestler to win a Senior National Championship. She then went on to attend McMaster University, where she won numerous provincial and national titles. Currently, Akuffo, 29, is continuing with her professional development as a business student at York University while training in preparation for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics.
