    TD Irie Music Festival

    The TD IRIE Music Festival is a multi-day, family-friendly festival taking place Friday, July 29th to Monday, August 1st, 2011.

    Join the celebration of music — from Reggae to Salsa, Soul to African; dance from the African Diaspora presented in association with dance Immersion, spoken word/literature, visual arts exhibition, movies, delicious tropical food & drinks and more.

    The TD IRIE Music Festival is free at two main stages with exciting live performances at Queen’s Park and Yonge-Dundas Square.

    The Festival kicks off on Friday July 29th with the inauguration of the IRIE Music Awards, celebrating some of Canada’s best reggae and world music artists. The IRIE Awards ceremony and concert take place at the Phoenix Concert Theatre and is a ticketed event.

    The festival continues at Queen’s Park North with three days of world class programming from Saturday July 30th to Monday, August 1st.

    You can also catch some of Canada’s most exciting, emerging soul/R&B, artists at IRIE Soul, presented in association with Urban Music Week at Yonge Dundas Square for one day only on Saturday, July 30th

    See some classic music films, free, under the stars at Nathan Phillips Square July 30th and 31st and experience the creativity of IRIE Green Art inside the Rotunda at Toronto City Hall from Friday, July 29th to August 1st.
