How to create mesmerizing eyes

GILT TRIP
Adding gold to a classic smoky eye modernizes it to dazzling effects.

Get the look:
1. Trace lash lines and cover the entire lid with black liquid liner to create an intense base.
2. Soften harsh lines, set liner and create dimensions above the crease using black matte eye shadow.
3. Dust inner eye corners with gold eye shadow.

Pro Tips:
• You need tools and time to get this look right. Blend thoroughly as you apply the shadow and don’t even think of attempting this one if you’re in a rush.
• Leave a little space free of black liner in the corners of the eyes. This allows the gold to glow brightest.
• An eye this dramatic needs only the slightest hint of lip colour. Use concealer to lighten lips then top with gloss and go.

Edgy and alluring all at once, shimmering silver puts a futuristic twist on an exaggerated cat eye shape.

Get the look:
1. Line top and bottom lashes with silver eyeliner.
2. Apply silver eye shadow along lower lash lines and on lids just above the crease. Extend shadow just past outer corners, angling slightly upwards toward end of
eyebrows.
3. Finish with two coats of
inky black mascara.

Pro Tips:
• To give eyes maximum definition, line inner lash rims with black pencil liner before applying silver shades.
• Curl lashes before you bust out a mascara wand. It’s an extra little step that makes a big difference, and is worth it every time.
• Keep lip colour subtle with a creamy nude-toned lipstick.
