This year at TIFF Sway got a little insight into celebrity gifting, the latest trends, and some of our country’s greatest not-for-profit organizations.

The Shangri-La Hotel was where JSquared2 Public Relations had their Bask-It-Style event where celebrities were gifted to swag bags featuring products from companies such as: Diesel, Mereadesso, and Foxy Originals. Artist Donna Koster abstract interlocking artwork installation while authors Wayne Johnston, Tish Cohen and Adrienne Kress provided some understanding into the creative process of their latest novels. JSquared2 also partnered with Hope 4 Help an organization created to sustain schools in Maweni village in Kenya, and Windfall an organization that provides brand-new clothing and basic needs supplies to impoverished individuals throughout the city.

At the Bata Shoe Museum TDot TV teamed up with CANFAR (Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research) for their lounge where stars of the upcoming film Ecstacy Billy Boyd and Dean McDermott each donated a pair of their boots to the museum in honour of TIFF. Celebrities were also on site to show their support for CANFAR awareness, posing for headshots taken by fashion photographer Don Miller and were treated to pieces of luxury jewellery by designer MICALLA.
